Mike graduated from UMIST in 1985 with an Honours Degree in Management Science and completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 1993. He worked with AMP Australia, in Sydney in 1989 and established Westminster Financial Planners, an independent firm of financial planners in Australia in the early 90’s.

Returning to the UK in 1993, Mike initially worked with Prudential Assurance as a Major Accounts Manager in the Occupational Pensions department and moved onto the Private Financial Planning department. In 1997 Mike set up Westminster Financial Planning in London. Mike is a member of both the Personal Finance Society and the Institute of Financial Planning, the industry’s two leading professional bodies.

Michael Ageev

Michael graduated from Kings College London in 2000 with an Honours Degree in Business Management. Before joining Westminster in 2002, he spent 2 years working as a Paraplanner at Inter-Alliance PLC. During this time he obtained the CII’s Financial Planning Certificate and the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) from the Institute of Financial Services.

Whilst working for Westminster, Michael continued taking examinations for his professional qualifications, completing the CII’s Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and obtaining the ‘Chartered’ status in 2008, and being awarded the Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS) in 2010. Michael’s current role at the company combines working with clients with technical report writing.

Lynne Rowland

Lynne graduated from Manchester University in 1985 with an Honours Degree in Mathematics. She started her career in the Wyatt Company UK as a Consultant and whilst there studied for her actuarial exams. Lynne was later transferred to Sydney Australia. Having returning to the UK in 1993 Lynne joined Newton Investment Management to head up the Capital Gains Tax department and later as Business Manager in the Private Client Investment Department.

Lynne joined Westminster in 1999. Her role is to ensure that the business is run in an efficient manner and complies with the up-to-date industry standards and regulations.

Lindsay John

Client Care Manager

Lindsay graduated from university in 2005 with a Double Honours Degree in Modern Languages and joined Westminster in 2007. Lindsay is currently studying towards a full Certificate in Financial Planning and her current responsibilities include preparing client reports, managing client files and liaising with our clients.
